2019 LWOL #1

January 17, 2019 17:54 By Aaron

Wow, what a great start to 2019!

Nearly 60 people packed into the beautiful new Beaver House location of Work Nicer to listen to James Keirstead, Councillor Mike Nichol, and MLA David Sheppard speak.

James shared stories from his entrepreneurial journey, from his time with Arctic Spas to buying the company that would become Levven Electronics. The theme from James was that "nobody cares about your technology", rather your customers "care about the problem your technology solves for them".

Thank you to everyone who came out, both the new faces and the old guard. Rainforest wouldn't be successful without your support! Don't forget, LWOL is now every Wednesday, whether are in Calgary or Edmonton. Next week, we will be profiling Tim Gourley of Fitset!

A special thank you to Work Nicer for hosting LWOL!
